Peanut butter:
A safe and tasty favourite – just make sure it’s free from salt, sugar, and xylitol.
Chickpea flour: High in protein and fibre, it’s gluten-free and gentle on sensitive tummies.
Coconut flour: Packed with healthy fats, it promotes a shiny coat and provides a great source of energy.

Cranberry, Sweet Potato and Mint Christmas Cookies

Get your dog into the holiday spirit with these festive and healthy treats! Packed with wholesome ingredients to keep tails wagging through the holidays.

  1. Add the sweet potato to a small pot of boiling water and cook on a medium high heat until cooked. Drain the water and allow to cool.
  2. Meanwhile, add the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix.
  3. Add the sweet potato, peanut butter, coconut oil and egg to a food processor and blitz until smooth. Add the mint and cranberries and blitz until roughly chopped.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mix well, and knead to form a dough.
  5. Preheat the oven to 160°C fan. 
  6. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured silicon pastry mat, until around 5mm thick.
  7. Using a cookie cutter, cut shapes appropriately sized for your dog. Gather the dough scraps, re-roll, cut out more cookies, and repeat until all the dough is used.
  8. Place the biscuits on baking trays lined with baking paper and bake for around 20 minutes until the edges start to turn golden. 
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cookies to cool and crisp in the oven, with the door kept slightly ajar with a wooden spoon.
